Job Requirements: Hign school graduate or equivalent. Must have good speaking voice, and be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays. Previous switchboard or phone-receptionist work preferred, but not required.

 

Job Description: Answer calls coming into the switchboard as well as calls to the doctor's answering service. Handle radio communications for the engineering staff and ambulance service. Monitor the automated alarm systems and resond appropriately based on situation. Announce all Code 4s, Code 9s, Code Pink, emergenices and drills over the PA system for both buildings. Maintain numerous log books on different aspects of the hospital operations.
