Job Title: Assistant Business Office Director-Business Office

Job Requirements: Four-year degree preferred with applicable experience. Minimum three years experience in Business Office operations. Prior experience with PA-Collections-Meditech. Experience and understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and other Insurance payment systems. Prior supervisory skills. Must have organizational, verbal, inter-personal, customer relations, mathematical and analytical, grammer/spelling.

 

Job Description: Supervises the day to day office operation associated with the accurate, timely and efficent billing of accounts receivable. Establishes process and standards of performance that maximize efficiency. Monitors compliance. Review correspondence daily, including all insurance denials and communications as appropriate. Is knowledgeable regarding financial class specific requirements, such as ID and group numbers, pre-certification requirements, extended days,etc. Systematically works daily reports ensuring systems balancing thus providing high accuracy levels of all bills. Monitors managed care contract activity and communicates with Business Office Services Director regarding compliance issues. Insures timely posting of all cash payments and balancing of daily deposits.
