Healthy Woman
Welcome to your kind of community.
Women juggle many roles and responsibilities: mother, daughter, caregiver, career professional, volunteer and friend. You give to those you love, but finding time to care for yourself can be a challenge.
At Medical Center of South Arkansas, our Healthy Woman program was designed by women, for women. Our Healthy Woman Board is comprised of female leaders from different organizations throughout our community. The Healthy Woman Board’s goal is to empower all women with the knowledge and confidence to make informed health care decisions and maintain a healthy mind, body and spirit through health education events.
The Healthy Woman Board and program offers free seminars, health fairs, educational programs and interactive events designed for women. We offer health care seminars that cover timely and pertinent topics, including:
- Heart disease
- Diabetes
- Breast cancer
- Menopause
- Nutrition
- Osteoporosis
- Stress management
- Life balance issues
Healthy Woman membership also provides you with access to various online resources to help you better manage your health and your life. Join other women in your community and see what we have to offer.
