Spending time with someone who cares during a hospital stay stimulates smiles and lifts spirits—on both sides of the hospital bed. That’s why we encourage visitors to come see us, sit, and stay awhile; it’s a healthy experience for everyone.
Visiting Hours
10 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Intensive Care and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Units
9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
12 midnight - 1:00 a.m.
Details
✓ Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the Maternity Care unit unless they are a patient’s sibling.
✓ Children under the age of 14 must have permission from nursing staff prior to visiting a patient room in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
✓ Wash your hands often while visiting our facility. It prevents the spread of germs that can cause infection.
✓ If you’ve got a fever, cold, or any infection symptoms, please stay home.
✓ Medical Center of South Arkansas is a tobacco-free campus. No smoking is allowed anywhere on the grounds.
✓ Don’t bring patients food or candies unless your attending doctor gives permission.
✓ Please do not use private bathrooms in patient rooms, there are public restrooms located throughout the hospital for visitors.
✓ Flowers cannot be accepted in the Intensive Care, Cardiovascular Intensive Care or Labor and Delivery Care units.
