The MCSA Medical Withdrawal Management Program is a 3-5 day medical stabilization for individuals that are seeking help recovering from substance abuse. The Medical Withdrawal Management services allows clients who are in withdrawal from alcohol and/ or drugs to be medically stabilized and managed on an inpatient medical surgical unit, just like any other patient recovering from surgery or illness, preserving dignity and confidentiality. Using a multidisciplinary team approach, withdrawal symptoms and medical comorbidities are medically managed throughout the withdrawal period, ensuring safe and effective medical outcomes. We offer an innovative medical collaboration between hospital and community referral partners to customize a treatment and discharge plan that includes but is not limited to residential treatment programs, intensive outpatient programs, medically assisted treatment, and sober living. We work with the client, their support system and our medical staff to develop a customized recovery plan for our patients to aid them in their recovery after discharge. In addition, the program follows clients for a year to support and offer resources or re-engage them in recovery if needed.
